Podspace Ads

Podspace offer creators the possibility to monetize their podcasts through ads insertions from Podspace network of advertisers. With Podspace Ads we take care of the sales process, matching ads with podcasts, and ad delivery. All you have to do is flip the switch and receive the payouts.

Podspace Ads is currently available in Sweden and Finland.

Who can use Podspace Ads

Every podcast that is connected to a Swedish or Finnish entity registered for VAT can use Podspace Ads. You also need to adhere to our community guidelines and have your registered entity connected to your Space.

Turning on Podspace Ads

Podspace Ads is enabled for the whole Space by navigating to the Space left navigation > Ads and then flip the toggle where it says "Turn on Ads". You then need to fill in some details including bank account for ads payouts and send in an application. When we've reviewed your podcasts we'll turn ads on for your Space, this process usually doesn't take more than a couple of days.

Once you have ads enabled the Ads page will show a summary of your total impressions and earnings, and provide you with the option to toggle ads off/on for individual podcasts within your Space.

Blocking certain ad categories

It's possible to block certain ad categories from appearing in your podcast. You can do this per podcast by navigating to Ads configuration in the left navigation.

Collecting payouts

You'll receive a billing statement by the 10:th of each month for the previous period. Our standard payment terms are 30 days and the payment will be automatically paid out to your connected account. If your total payout sums up to less than EUR 10 we will hold they payout until the next month.

Updating payout account

If you need to update your payout account or business details, navigate to Ads in the Space left navigation and click "Edit business profile" in the top right. You can now add the new information and hit "Update profile".

Understanding your earnings

You can see your earnings from Podspace Ads by navigating to Ads in the left navigation of the Space. Here you can see total impressions and total earnings with a breakdown per podcast. You'll also see a list of all the monthly payouts that have been made to your account.
